The Tennis Auckland Performance Programme is designed for players who wish to make the move towards playing at national and international level. Performance Programme players compete in National Age Group Championships and Junior ITF level events, and are be looking to progress either to the US College system, tournament circuits and the Tennis NZ High Performance Programmes.
Performance Programme members will be expected to have a professional attitude to training and be available for regional and national teams events if selected.
From the Performance Programme athletes will be identified for progression through Future programmes, from which Tennis NZ High Performance athletes are selected.

Performance Tour Overview
Tennis Auckland has made a decision to prioritise the development of the most outstanding 8th – 12th birth year athletes from the Auckland region. Tennis Auckland will provide specific and targeted coaching support to a small group of identified Auckland athletes with the goal of these athletes reaching Tennis Auckland’s Performance Tour programme and, in the future, achieving Tennis New Zealand’s Athlete Development Criteria benchmarks. Tennis Auckland can invite athletes at their discretion.
Athletes must make themselves available to represent the Auckland Region if selected in the National Junior Teams event (unless an exemption is granted by the Tennis Auckland Regional Performance Manager).
Contact Tennis Auckland’s Regional Performance Manager if you feel you would like more information. It is requested that a copy of the athlete’s current weekly training schedule and primary coach contact details be included in the e-mail.
