What happens if I cannot make a class?
We understand that sometimes things come up or you or your child become unwell, and you cannot make your lesson. If this is the case, we require you to notify us of your absence at least 8 hours prior to the class commencing in order to receive a make-up class. The quickest way to do this is to logon to our customer portal (see below) and mark your absence. Alternatively, you can let us know by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I book in for a make-up class if I have notified an absence?
Yes, absolutely! All players are entitled to two make-up classes per term per class (if you attend two classes per week, you are entitled to two make-up classes per class). The best way to book into a make-up class is via the customer portal. Please note that because the majority of our classes are full, spaces won’t always be available. It is best to check back on the app regularly to see if a spot comes up. Make-up classes must be used within the same term and do not roll over into future terms. We do not issue refunds for any missed classes.
What happens if I cannot make the last week of term? How do I do a make-up?
We recommend that you notify your absence in advance, that way you can fit your make-up into the term before being absent. If you or your child is sick in the last week, this is just unlucky and we cannot provide a make-up into the following term.
How do I download the app for the Customer Portal?
Click here to go to our Customer Portal where you can sign up using the same email you used to sign up for lessons, also look out for the icon to download the app from the app store. Alternatively, you can download the app directly from the app store. Simply search “ThinkSmart Portal”. Register using the email you used to book your classes and if asked, use the company code: YDDC2GTS
What happens if I injure myself or become unwell and cannot complete the term?
First and foremost, we hope this doesn’t happen to you! However, if this is the case, please send us through a doctor’s certificate and you may be entitled to a partial refund at Tennis Auckland’s discretion.
Do I need to re-register every term?
Nope! At the end of every term, you will be automatically re-enrolled into your same class/es. You will receive an email towards the end of the term notifying you that you have been re-enrolled where you will be given the option to change days/times or to withdraw from the future term. Once you have a spot in a class, that spot is yours until you move out of it.
