Junior Coaching - Tennis Auckland

ORANGE LIGHT SETTING UPDATE All those 12 years & 3 months old and over that participate in coaching classes, parents and spectators will be required to have their My Vaccine Pass verified, or a valid verified medical exemption. If they cannot produce a My Vaccine Pass, they will not be permitted to participate in their class. Children 11 years and under will be treated as though they were a vaccinated older person – that is a My Vaccine Pass will not be necessary.

Tennis Auckland offers an extensive range of programs that are tailored for all ages and abilities. All our coaches are committed to the highest levels of professionalism and work towards continual development. Programmes are athlete-centered, coach-driven, and participants are taught technical and tactical competency whilst developing psychologically, physically and socially.

Junior Programme Pathway

Tennis Auckland’s Junior Programme Pathway shows the clear progression for a tennis player through our regional coaching structure.

Our inclusive model gives Auckland’s developing juniors the opportunity to supplement their existing coaching programmes with our regionally delivered programmes.

Tennis Hot Shots

Tennis Hot Shots is the national starter tennis programme designed just for kids. Smaller courts, shorter racquets and softer balls mean that kids can play a proper game of tennis from the moment they step on court.

Catering for ages 3 to 12+ years with equipment and programmes that grow with your child

Super Shots

Super Shots are fun, social tennis sessions designed for teenagers to develop their skills and continue their enjoyment of the game. Super Shots sessions run after school throughout the year, with Holiday Programmes available during the breaks.

Development Programme

The Tennis Auckland Development Programme is designed for players aged 8-16 years, with a reasonable level of skill who enjoy competition and are motivated to improve their skills and performance.

The Tennis Auckland Performance Programme is designed for players who wish to make the move towards playing at national and international level. Performance Programme players compete in National Age Group Championships and Junior ITF level events, and are be looking to progress further.
