Auckland players win at Junior Masters Points Race

Tennis Auckland players have come home with some more trophies this season, taking out titles at the 2020 Junior Masters Points

Race – Top 8 Finals held in Hamilton.  The Junior Masters points race runs across the 12U, 14U and 16U age groups, with six Tier 2 and 50 Tier 3 events across the New Zealand, with the best six results contributing to their total.

It was an all Auckland final in the 12U Boys with Felix Littlejohn taking the win over Auckland teammate Zac Fussell.
In the 14U Girls it was a great win for Aishi Das, taking the match with a solid 6-4,- 6-3 win over Mahinarangi Warren.
In the 16U Girls Shona Nakano put in a massive fight but wasn’t able to take the title, going down in three sets to Vivian Yang the number 1 ranked junior player in the country.
And in the 16U Boys final Lev Gorb wasn’t able to overcome a dominant Daniel Hammond.
